JoIN THE Management team

You will be a part of the operational management team. As part of the team, you will report to the Chair of the Board of Directors and take lead on core areas in CBS Students.

The operational management team self-organises and distributes roles according to the members preferences.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (ENTIRE TEAM)

  • Work in collaboration with the CBS Students Board of Directors to shape the strategy of CBS Students

  • Lead the operational work and development of CBS Students

  • Execute projects end-to-end from idea generation, engagement to review and completion

  • Contribute to developing a strong volunteering community

  • Strengthen student involvement and influence across CBS

  • Collaborate with CBS on various projects and strategic initiatives

  • Stay on top of 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (TO BE DISTRIBUTED AMONG THE TEAM)

  • (President) Represent CBS Students to media

  • (President) Act as the political spokesperson and coordinate political work of CBS Students.

  • Lead the collaboration and community between CBS Students and student organizations at CBS.

  • Take ownership of development and operations of all communication channels - website, SoMe, Student Life app, email, on-campus marketing

  • Develop the Student Senate and develop the community of student representatives at CBS

  • Organise and coordinate work across CBS Students and keep track of contractual obligations

  • Take care of and develop CBS Students’ partnerships and relationships with other stakeholders

  • Own the volunteer lifecycle at CBS Students from recruitment, onboarding, engagement, re-engagement and offboarding

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a student at CBS in the calendar year 2023

  • Going half-time on your studies (15 ECTS per semester)

  • Preferably no other employment (student job etc.)

  • Proactivity and strong drive to learn and improve

  • A deep sense of ownership for your tasks

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Thorough understanding of the student representation at CBS

  • Experience with leading and executing initiatives and projects end-to-end

  • Experience with people leadership, ideally in a volunteering organization

  • Systematic approach to work, ability to keep track of ongoing initiatives and requests

  • Ability to translate complex problems into actionable plans

  • Specify if you are applying to be the President (which has the predefined responsibilities of being the spokesperson and political coordinator of CBS Students)

  • Attach a picture that you would like to be published for the candidate presentation

The application deadline is 13th November 2022.

Shortly after the deadline, your motivation letter will be made publicly available so that students at CBS can be acquainted with the candidates for the leadership of CBS Students.

On 27th November, there will be an election - to get the job, you need to get elected as per the regulations outlined in CBS Students statutes.
