Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Student Life at CBS mobile application and website (collectively the "service", “services”, “software”) operated by CBS Students ("us", 'we", "our"). By utilizing our app or accessing any page on our site, you agree to be bound by the current version of our terms of service and privacy policy.
Conditions of Use
CBS Students will provide our services to you, which are subject to the conditions stated below in this document. Every time you visit this website, use its services or make a purchase, you accept the following conditions. Therefore, we urge you to read them carefully.
Acceptance of the terms of use
We ask that you review and abide by these Terms and Conditions, our privacy policy and any other terms and conditions that may appear on the service from time to time. When we make revisions, we will post them to the service and they will be effective immediately upon posting. You agree to check this section periodically to be aware of any changes to the Terms and Conditions.
Your continued use of the service after the posting of any revisions shall be considered your agreement to the modified Terms and Conditions.

Intellectual property
By using the service you agree that the services, including but not limited to content, graphics, user interface, audio clips, video clips, editorial content, and the scripts and software used to implement the services, contain proprietary information and material that is owned by CBS Students and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright. You agree that you will not use such proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever except for the use of the services. No portion of the services may be reproduced in any form or by any means, except if given direct and unique permission from CBS Students. To attain such a consent please send a message to sekretariat@cbsstudents.dk. You agree not to modify, rent, loan or sell the services in any manner and you shall not exploit the services in any manner not expressly authorized.

4.1 Content. “Content” means any material, such as audio files, video files, electronic documents or images that you upload and import into the Services or Software in connection with your use of Services.
4.2 Ownership. You retain all rights and ownership of your Content, we do not claim any ownership rights to your Content
4.3 Licenses. CBS Students require certain licenses from you to your content in order to operate and enable the Services and Software. CBS Students retains a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, modify, publicly perform, and translate the Content as needed in response to user driven actions. This license is only for the purpose of operating or improving the Services and Software.
copyright complaints
CBS Students respects the intellectual property rights of others. It is our policy to respond, within fair time, to any claim that Content posted on the Services infringes the copyright or other intellectual property infringement of any person. CBS Students will use reasonable effort to investigate notices of alleged infringement and will take appropriate action under applicable intellectual property law where it believes an infringement has taken place, including removing or disabling access to the Content claimed to be infringing and/or terminating account and access to the Services.
To notify CBS Students of a possible infringement you must submit your notice in writing to the attention of “Copyright Infringement” care at sekretariat@cbsstudents.dk and include in your notice a detailed description of the alleged infringement sufficient to enable Us to make a reasonable determination. Please note that you may be held accountable for damages (including costs and attorneys fees) for misrepresenting that any Content is infringing your copyright.
content review
You acknowledge that, in order to ensure compliance with legal obligations, CBS Students may be required to review certain content submitted to the Services to determine whether it is illegal, violates these terms and conditions or can reasonably be assured to cause harm to individuals (religious, cultural or sexual) orientations. We may also modify, prevent access to, delete or refuse to display content that we believe violates the law or these terms. However, CBS Students has no obligation to monitor or review any content submitted to the Services.
communications
The entire communication with us is electronic. Every time you send us an email or visit our website, you are going to be communicating with us. You hereby consent to receive communications from us. We will continue to communicate with you by posting news and notices on our website and by sending you emails. You also agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements and other communications we provide to you electronically meet the legal requirements that such communications be in writing.

The owner of the service is based in Denmark. By using our services, you agree that the laws of Denmark, without regard to principles of conflict laws, will govern these terms and conditions, or any dispute of any sort that might come between CBS Students and you, or its business partners and associates.
disputes
Any dispute related in any way to your visit to this website or to products you purchase from us shall be arbitrated by state or federal court [your location] and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
comments, reviews, and emails
Visitors may post content as long as it is not obscene, illegal, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or injurious in any other way to third parties. Content has to be free of software viruses, political campaign, and commercial solicitation.
We reserve all rights (but not the obligation) to remove and/or edit such content. When you post your content, you grant CBS Students non-exclusive, royalty-free and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, modify such content throughout the world in any media.
license and site access
We grant you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website. You are not allowed to download or modify it. This may be done only with written consent from us.
user account
If you are an owner of an account on this website, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your private user details (username and password). You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.
We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, edit or remove content.

Except as expressly set forth in these terms and conditions, you expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the service is at your sole risk and that the service is provided ‘as is’ and on an ‘as available’ basis. CBS Students does not represent or warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any defects will be corrected, or that the service or the server that makes the service available are free from viruses or anything else harmful. Further, except as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions, CBS Students makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, reliability, or completeness of the site, text messages, services, content, the content of any third-party service linked to or from our service, comments, information, or any other items or materials on the site or linked to from the site.
limitation of liability
To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event shall CBS Students be liable for personal injury or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the licensed application, however caused, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise) and even if licensor has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall CBS Students total liability to you for all damages (other than as may be required by applicable law in cases involving personal injury) exceed the amount of five hundred kroner (500 DKK). The foregoing limitations will apply even if the above stated remedy fails of its essential purpose.
